To zip a file or folder with ease try doing the following

Open File Explorer and browser to the files and/or folders you want to zip
Select the files and/or folders to be zipped
Right click on selected files and and/or folders
Scroll down to “send to” in the context menu
Select compressed zip folder

Voila!
